A new year with new machines and a new website

2022 was a record-breaking year at SER in many ways. To begin with, we committed to increasing the general hire fleet by 50% – more dumptrucks, more shovels, more customers and more work!
We also welcomed additional members of staff to the team and up until the rain clouds opened in the latter stages of the year, we saw excellent utilisation of the fleet.
One highlight from the previous 12 months was the addition of several Volvo L260H Wheeled Loading Shovels (pictured below). These 36 tonne loaders, that are supplied to quarry specification including VMS reverse breaking and Volvo Assist Weigh Loading Systems, have been a real hit with customers in both quarries and on rehandling projects where large volumes of material need moved.
Initially, only a couple of new L260H units were ordered but they were so well received we just kept adding more!
And 2023 is set to continue in a similar vein. The first machine due to be delivered with SER livery on is yet another L260H – already committed to a long-term hire with a valued customer.
As we rapidly head towards the lighter nights of springtime, there will be many more additions to our fleet and another busy year is in store.
